Data Entry Begone: Automating the Common App Import

This session is sponsored by

Join this session to learn about importing data into Salesforce. Allegheny recently went live with a nightly Common Application import, using Jitterbit to bring over 700 fields of data into several Salesforce objects and attach pdfs of applications, recommendations, and transcripts to appropriate records. This has saved Admissions staff countless hours of tedious work. In this session, Allegheny will share how they built the import, concentrating on the features needed in an integration tool to overcome key challenges. You should leave this session with some ideas you can take back to your institution to begin building your own imports for the Common Application, SATs, ACTs and so on, using your integration tool of choice.
