Wayne Brady and Pitbull Headline Trailblazers Together on December 9

By Salesforce.org November 17, 2020

This year, our community has faced many challenges and new levels of uncertainty, but there is one thing we know for sure: When the community comes together, we thrive.

While we can’t get together in-person this year, we’re excited to gather on December 9 at 8:30 a.m. (PST) at our virtual global community celebration, Trailblazers Together.

This holistic community moment — created for our nonprofit, education, and philanthropy customers from across the world — is a chance to connect and engage meaningfully, and to focus the human element that is often missing from virtual events.

Ultimately, Trailblazers Together is all about celebrating YOU — the members of our community who have been boldly navigating unique hurdles to drive innovation and better serve constituents and students alike. At this virtual event, we will highlight those success stories, take a peek at what’s around the corner, hear from luminary speakers, and much more.

Wayne Brady is set to host the event, with Pitbull making a special appearance.

Celebrities, Trailblazers, and More

We’re excited to announce that Wayne Brady will be hosting our one-hour Trailblazers Together celebration. The do-it-all comedian, actor, singer, and producer will guide the event’s festivities, which will include:

  • Inspiring success stories from two trailblazing customers: NAACP and Iowa State University. They’ll share how they’ve stayed focused on their mission-critical goals through this year of vast digital transformation.
  • A special appearance by international superstar and philanthropist, Pitbull.
  • Insightful fireside conversations with Salesforce.org executives and industry leaders.
  • Community highlight moments that will make you smile, laugh, and may even bring on the water works.

Speaking of community highlights — we want you to get social, while also supporting Pencils of Promise (PoP) — an organization working to build safe schools, support teachers, and provide students with critical health programming. Learn more about the three fun ways you can support PoP by posting on your social media platforms before December 9.

Digital Transformation and Product Innovation

There are many hot topics that encapsulate this unprecedented year, but for the nonprofit and education industries, the term “digital transformation” certainly has to be towards the top of the list. What exactly is it? What purpose does it serve? How do you initiate a digital transformation at your organization or institution?

Don’t worry, we have you covered. A portion of the day’s events will be dedicated to a thought-provoking, fireside-style conversation on digital transformation with a legend from the tech world. Details on that speaker will be announced soon!

In addition to meaningful dialogue around the digital imperatives facing these industries, leaders from our product teams will be giving some early looks at upcoming products, as well as critical State of the Industry insights.
