SolarAid and Salesforce
SolarAid is an international charity that combats poverty and climate change. They are providing access to solar lights in some of the most remote regions of the world and building a movement to eradicate the kerosene lamp.
In the UK, they are fundraising, forming partnerships and developing vital policy work. In Africa, teams are cultivating markets for solar lights by selling them using their unique distribution model.
Salesforce underpins the vital functions of the teams.
Using Salesforce enabled SolarAid to increase its income, team size and capacity – it’s now sold 1.5 million lights, impacting over 9 million people to become the largest distributor of solar lights in Africa.
