Salesforce Pro Bono with Make-a-Wish France

Make-A-Wish Foundation grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes to children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions so as to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. This wish can be a game-changer. It makes children’s lives happier, and everyone involved – bringing back hope and the ability to fight harder against their illnesses.

Through Salesforce.org donation and discount programme, Make a Wish France is granted donated and discounted Salesforce licenses helping them power their mission and accelerate their impact.

The Salesforce.org is committed to supporting Make-a-Wish France and to ensure its team is getting the maximum value from these licenses. Through our pro bono programme in France, a group of Salesforce employees volunteered their time to enhance the Make-a-Wish Foundation’s information system which is powered by Salesforce. Make-a-Wish France is now better able to manage their contacts, interactions, donations, wishes, fundraising activities and can report on all these activities within Salesforce.

Make-A-Wish is looking for Salesforce volunteers

Anybody can engage with Make a Wish and bring some added value to their donated licenses. For me, it was an enriching personal experience and a great opportunity to support our Foundation framework. Each and every individual contribution is hugely important.

After Make-A-Wish Foundation was set up in the United States, interest in granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions quickly spread to other nations. In 1993, Make-A-Wish International was officially formed to serve five countries outside the U.S. – and now helps to serve children in nearly 50 countries across five continents. With the help of generous donors and over 32,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish has collectively granted approximately more than 334,000 wishes worldwide since 1980.
