Salesforce.org Dreamforce Sneak Peek: Announcing Our Keynote Lineups
Now that the Dreamforce Agenda Builder is live, it’s time to sit down and plan your schedule for the week of the big show. It’s a moment of reckoning. Suddenly every one of the 3000-plus sessions and activities seems unmissable. Four days feels far too short. Difficult choices must be made. The fate of your Dreamforce experience hangs in the balance.
A good place to start is by choosing the Keynotes you want to attend. Go into Agenda Builder and check the boxes like so, and voilà: now you can peruse the forty-ish Keynotes. I usually put those on the calendar first, and then add Dreamfest and other parties. Because I have my priorities straight.
Once those anchors are in place, it’s much easier to fill in the gaps with other sessions. Whatever the method to your Dreamforce madness is, Keynotes are a good starting point because they give you an overview of the most important announcements, a first look at new products and features in action, and a glimpse at what some real-life power users are doing with Salesforce.
This year, Salesforce.org will have three Keynotes for changemakers from every sector. Let’s break them down and reveal who’s in them.
Drum roll please!
Who should attend: Everyone (from the corporate, nonprofit, and education sectors) who cares about changing the world. You care about that, don’t you? This session will redefine the future of the social good sector – you need to see that future! So go bookmark it now!
Who’s in it: United Way, Sprint, adidas, and the Salesforce.org Philanthropy Cloud team.
Products you’ll see: Philanthropy Cloud, and more specifically how companies can use it to empower their employees to donate and give back in other ways. Plus, nonprofits and educational institutions will learn what Philanthropy Cloud means for them.
Spoiler alert: This will be the very first live Keynote demo of Philanthropy Cloud, shown in the context of a Sprint employee using Philanthropy Cloud to rally her coworkers and make a difference in young people’s lives. And there’s a surprise feature here you don’t want to miss! Prepare to get chills!
Who should attend: You, if you would describe the organization you work for as a nonprofit, not-for-profit, NGO, charity, or all of the above.
Who’s in it: Habitat for Humanity of Greater San Francisco, American Cancer Society, and the Salesforce.org Nonprofit team.
Products you’ll see: Nonprofit Cloud, including brand-new features in the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). Plus new Marketing Cloud features like Surveys, Einstein AI, and more.
Spoiler alert: The nonprofit community is always part of this keynote — last year a user group member literally proposed on stage. So you definitely won’t want to miss the community spotlight this year, and you might want to bring a pack of tissues.
Who should attend: You, if you work for a university or college. (K-12 schools are encouraged to attend this keynote as well as the K-12 Kickoff.)
Who’s in it: University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, Dallas County Community College District, and the Salesforce.org Higher Ed team.
Products you’ll see: Education Cloud, including Salesforce Advisor Link (SAL), the Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA), and a sneak peek at Gift Processing. Plus new Marketing Cloud features for student engagement, Einstein AI, and more.
Spoiler alert: This keynote always showcases higher ed trailblazers who are on the bleeding edge of innovation, like last year’s demo of Amazon Alexa integrated with Salesforce from the University of San Diego. This year, we’re planning on showing some even more mind-blowing stuff. You won’t be disappointed.
