Salesforce Brazil Gives Back
Located close to São Paulo, Lar Bussocaba takes care of around 50 elderly people. Their goal is to house elderly people who lack family support or don’t have people around them who can properly care for them. They provide a clean, warm shelter and help them have a dignified life, which includes balanced meals, health assistance, activities and entertainment.
The Salesforce Brazil team wanted to give back to the community, and so we raised more than 30 packages containing personal hygiene items for the residents at Lar Bussocaba. It was a very special day! We were amused by the fun interaction with them; we had the chance to exchanged ideas and knowledge, and learn from their experience. Even for the ones who didn’t speak or had any sort of disablement, our presence was enough to make them smile.
It was an absolutely thrilling experience. All we can say is that they moved us in the best way possible, and we could see in their eyes that our presence was vital to make them feel valued and important. We will definitely come back soon!
