Tell us about Inspire Associates and the origins of the app
Inspire Associates is a boutique Salesforce implementation company that services the nonprofit sector. Our team has a rare combination of expertise in both technology and business process.
For years we searched for an effective Salesforce project management application with little success. Our search on the Salesforce AppExchange led us to apps that were either too expensive, had too many features that we didn’t need, or were selling a new way of doing things. We chose to put our talents to work and develop the app we were in search of. This vision became Inspire Planner.
What does Inspire Planner do? How can it help nonprofits?
Inspire Planner is a simple Salesforce-native project management app. It’s a perfect choice for small and medium teams, which are looking for a powerful, yet user-friendly and simple to use solution.
We designed Inspire Planner with a focus on building the key features in-depth and we made sure to make them as effective as possible. Users enjoy a familiar Salesforce project management interface with Lightning support, Gantt view, multi-level task structures, multiple predecessors, Chatter integration, the ability to share projects with any Salesforce user or contact, all within an intuitive drag and drop interface.
Working specifically with nonprofits in the consulting side of our business we identified early on that nonprofits don’t always have access to project management resources (both people and technology). Inspire Planner offers a solution that any individual, regardless of their project management expertise or training can feel comfortable using to effectively manage their projects in a simple and intuitive way.
How did nonprofits become a focus for Inspire Associates?
Our core business focus has always been in the nonprofit sector and how we can help them to become a more effective organizations, whether that be through our consulting services, developing new Salesforce technology solutions or through Inspire Planner. We invested a lot of time and effort into the simplicity and intuitiveness of our solution, without sacrificing the performance level, and it all resulted in a great user experience that anyone can benefit from.
We offer nonprofit customers 10 free licences, with a discount applied to any additional licenses beyond the 10 free, so that price really isn’t a roadblock to leveraging this tool within the organization.
Supporting the nonprofit community can be a very powerful tool in building a positive and meaningful company culture. When your team can feel their work is positively impacting the lives of other, work can become transformed to passion.
