Now Available: NGO Connect Winter ‘16 Release

Salesforce.org is excited to announce the NGO Connect Winter ‘16 Release, available today.

Nonprofits must deliver the anytime, anywhere, collaborative experience that donors and volunteers now expect. With NGO Connect, nonprofits can more effectively build meaningful lifetime relationships with constituents by managing their fundraising, events, volunteers and more, all on a single platform.

The Winter ‘16 Release takes this great fundraising product to the next level, saving nonprofit organizations critical time in the areas of donor and event management while enabling them to raise more funds with giving on the go. Now you can focus on making more of an impact, like dozens of other high-performing nonprofits.

Highlights of this release include the ability to:

• Easily input constituent information with simplified account creation: Adding contacts automatically creates new accounts, with native addresses, phone numbers and emails. This information is now more compatible with third-party apps and mobile. These pilot features from the Summer ‘15 release are now available to everyone in Winter ‘16.
• Be more efficient with streamlined Batch Gift Entry: Quickly get batch gift data into the system with improvements that add up to greater flexibility and ease — from simpler batch creation to reordering fields by dragging and dropping to new cross-browser shortcuts, freezing column headers, and more.
• Encourage supporters to give anywhere, anytime with easily customizable Online Giving forms: Staff can now easily customize forms (via the Form Builder) to create a better, more tailored giving experience. Features include multi-page checkout, greater flexibility with asks, placeholder text, standard validators, and HTML meta-tags.
• Boost event attendance — and funds raised — with better tools to manage and promote: Improved event management capabilities include cloning event campaigns, specifying donation option amounts, using discount codes, and customizing fields shown at check-in.
