Salesforce’s Spring ‘23 Release Helps Nonprofits Maximize Efficiency and Impact Across Your Organization

With the start of the new calendar year, organizations are continuing to engage stakeholders to increase impact. According to our 5th Edition Nonprofit Trends Report, organizations as a whole are positive about the future, with 65% saying they are optimistic about their own organization. The top priority for nonprofits this year is fundraising— while the top challenges last year were raising awareness for their organization and using technology to work and collaborate remotely.
Today, we’re thrilled to announce the innovations in our Spring ‘23 release — all aimed to help nonprofits maximize efficiency and impact across your organization. In this release, we’re enhancing our solutions in fundraising and program management.
Build Relationships, Fund Impact with Fundraising Solutions
In our recent Nonprofit Trends Report, fundraising was the #1 priority, yet nonprofits were least satisfied with reporting tools, and only 53% of nonprofits reported having a strong relationship with donors. That’s why we’re releasing new capabilities in our fundraising solution, including new Tableau Accelerators to help measure performance, along with enhancements in recurring gift management and gift entry.
Many nonprofits have been able to use our existing Fundraising Accelerators, which provide powerful analytics and insights, but only if you were using The Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). Now, with the new Fundraising & Marketing KPI Accelerator (Spreadsheet Version), nonprofits using any CRM or Marketing system can unlock far more KPIs, by simply exporting their data into a spreadsheet that calculates metrics. When this data is connected to Tableau, nonprofits gain insights and dashboards, now with additional Donation and Campaign metrics and charts.
Enhancements in Recurring Gift Management enable organizations to know when transactions fail to ensure fundraisers can safeguard recurring gift revenue donors. Now, failed recurring donations are now flagged on the donation record. This enables you to run reports and set up alerts to contact donors when payments fail to process.
And Enhancements in Gift Entry helps organizations manage gift operations more efficiently. You can now create online recurring donations in Elevate from Gift Entry (US only), which reduces toggling between apps and frees up staff time.
Build Trusted Relationships, Working Together to Make Change with Program Management Solutions
Many programs teams have had to pivot how they manage programs virtually, with only 46% of nonprofits very satisfied with their ability to work and collaborate remotely. Using technology can help with more efficient ways of collecting information.
Innovation across our program management solutions include Program Management Module for Mobile, which helps organizations run their programs from the field. Organizations can now access and update information, collect attendance, and more with Program Management Module now available on the Salesforce app. This idea was sourced from the Community on the Idea Exchange (thank you to our community)!
Now, organizations of all sizes can maximize efficiency and impact.
