Introducing the Salesforce Lightning Editions: More Customization, More Capabilities, More Value

Salesforce recently announced the new Salesforce Lightning Editions to deliver more customization, more capabilities and more value for Salesforce customers. For our customers, this means access to all the newest features starting in the Summer ‘16 release.
Starting soon, Enterprise Edition and Unlimited Edition for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud will be replaced by new Lightning Enterprise Edition and Lightning Unlimited Edition for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and will be priced at $36 and $72, respectively. These new editions include additional capabilities that extend the value of Salesforce’s products.
Existing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud customers will automatically receive the capabilities and features of the new Lightning Editions. They will not need to change editions.

These new editions are providing more of the capabilities our customers want and need—in one of the most robust product packages available today.
New editions are:
Existing Sales Cloud and Service Cloud customers—including members of the Power of Us Program—will automatically receive the capabilities and features of the new Lightning Editions while still maintaining their current features. They will not need to change editions. New Sales Cloud and Service Cloud customers will be able to purchase the Lighting Editions in May of this year.
