GO! STEM Summer Program Launches in Toronto

Salesforce.org Canada is excited to launch the third year of our GO! STEM Summer Program (formerly girlforce) that focuses on empowering girls ages 13-17 to explore study and career paths in STEM.
In partnership with nonprofit hErVOLUTION, 20 girls will be on-site at the Salesforce Toronto hub from August 15 – 18 to learn about Salesforce culture, cloud technology, STEM career paths, and HTML and CSS for website design. hErVOLUTION focuses on access to innovative, education and employment services for girls and young women in STEM.
New this year, the group is also working with Salesforce.org customer and engagement partner WE (previously Free the Children), to explore solving key social issues in developing countries through STEM careers.
GO! STEM is an entirely Salesforce employee supported and delivered program. This year, 24 Salesforce volunteers will give 64 plus hours over four days to provide the best experience possible for the girls through mentorship and general program support.
