With 31% of higher ed staff saying it’s hard to get the data they need to do their jobs effectively, it’s clear that having actionable insights is imperative to drive both learner and institution success at scale. The Education Cloud spring ‘22 release is aimed at doing just that with new innovations to unlock insights across financial data, school performance, admissions pipeline, and student retention. Helping Institutions Access, Track, and Reconcile Financial Data

With enhancements to Accounting Subledger, institutions can simplify reconciliation for any type of financial transaction. Previously only available for tracking donations, Accounting Subledger is now available to every campus department including admissions, academics, and financial aid. This provides financial transparency across a campus and saves finance departments significant budget and resources on reconciliation tasks by connecting systems and ensuring a single source of truth for revenue and payment data.

And now it’s even easier to get started on Accounting Subledger. Our product documentation guide includes easy-to-follow instructions that walk users through tasks such as setting up accounting sets that generate financial records and tracking incoming student fees. Using these, accounting teams can spend less time getting up and running, and more time focusing on strategic initiatives.

Quickly Visualize Your Data to Unlock Strategic Insights

Tableau enables institutions to make informed, data-driven decisions using real-time insights. With our new Tableau Accelerators, built specifically for Education Cloud, universities get pre-built dashboards to quickly access specific data without having to design custom reports. No longer needing to start from scratch, institutions get insights quickly, get up and running faster, and can spend more time focusing on institutional goals.

IPEDS Accelerator: Colleges can now easily compare insights from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) against their individual performance. This includes data and benchmarking on acceptance, yield, enrollment, and completion targets.

Admissions Connect and Student Success Hub Accelerator: Institutions can begin monitoring and evaluating admissions pipeline and student retention immediately to ensure they are hitting their goals.
