Dreamforce Survival Kit: T-Minus 5 Weeks

Can you believe it? Dreamforce is just 5 short weeks away! Whether you’re a newbie or a repeat attendee, Dreamforce can be overwhelming (in the best way).
But fear not! We’ve got you covered with the Dreamforce Survival Kit! Every week between now and the conference, we’ll be giving you 5 new tips and tricks to help you make the most of your Dreamforce ‘16 experience.
By the time October 4th rolls around, you’ll be ready to tackle DF16 like a pro.
1. Get hyped!
With over 2,000 breakout sessions and over 150,000 attendees, it’s easy to get excited for DF16. But if you need a little extra help, check out the video below:
Still not hyped? Check out the top ten highlights from last year’s Dreamforce.
2. Be on the lookout for the latest news and updates.
In addition to your trusty Survival Kit, there are a lot of resources to keep you updated on the latest with DF16. Be sure to subscribe to Road to Dreamforce, a weekly web series that airs live every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. EDT/ 11:00 a.m. PDT. And if you really want to stay on top of things, set up a Google alert for “Dreamforce.”
3. Be active on social.
Get the conversation going on Twitter, Facebook, and heck, Snapchat! Use the hashtag #DF16 to throw your voice into the ring and start connecting with other attendees. And be sure to follow and tweet at @SalesforceOrg and @Dreamforce.
4. Replenish your business card supply.
You’re going to be in the presence of hundreds of thousands of potential LinkedIn connections (and maybe even some new IRL friends)! Make sure you get a fresh stack of business cards printed so you won’t be forgotten amid the hustle and bustle.
5. Meet Astro.
And last but not least — meet Astro! Astro is our beloved, trailblazing mascot, who loves to dress up in different costumes. You’ll be seeing a lot of this technophile around Dreamforce, so it’s good to become acquaintances early!
Be sure to check back next week for 5 new tips and tricks — Dreamforce season is upon us!
