By Salesforce.org August 22, 2014

“The HUB is a great way to share information and collaborate. I love the excitement and enthusiasm HUB users bring to their interactions with one another.”
– Nick Zinser

We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the Power of Us HUB by recognizing 30 community members who have been instrumental in supporting the growing community of nonprofit and higher ed Salesforce users.

Nick ZinserToday’s community hero is Nicholas Zinser (@nzinser), Director of Enrollment Systems at Northeastern University where he champions innovative technical solutions for exceptional student service. Nick was one of our first evangelists in the higher education sector and he has shared Northeastern’s success in Foundation webinars, Dreamforce breakout sessions, and presentations at the Higher Education summit. He is also a top contributor in the HUB’s higher education group and he was recognized as a Salesforce MVP in Spring of 2014. Nick, THANK YOU for driving success and collaboration in the higher ed sector and beyond!

Who are you (in 250 words or less)?

“I’ve worked in higher education for 17 years, focusing on technology and enrollment management. My current role allows me to define a technology strategy for our division, while still working with departments to get excited about new solutions to their problems. At the end of the day, I still wonder how I’ve ended up in Massachusetts despite being a California native.”

How long have you been working with Salesforce products?

“Since 2010.”

What quick tip would you give someone getting started with Salesforce?

“Join the Power of Us HUB and attend Dreamforce. You’ll learn more than you thought possible by bringing your questions right to the experts!”

As a thank-you for all Nick has done for the community over the last year, the Foundation is donating $250 to a nonprofit of his choosing.
