On October 10th, Salesforce Japan participated in CloudRun 2014, which took place in the Imperial Palace grounds, Toyko. The event, organized by the Salesforce employees seeks to raise money for causes in local regions.

This year, over 60 people participated, including Salesforce employees, future employees and members from Pasona Tequila. In total, the event raised 250,000 JPY which will be used to support a landslide disaster area in a Hiroshima prefecture through Habitat for Humanity Japan.

“While Habitat Japan will receive donations to support a specific activity, I hope that this event inspired the participants to take extra steps to stay involved at work, at home and within their own communities.”Ms.Nakagawa, Manager, Resource Development, Habitat for Humanity Japan.

“This was my first time to run around Imperial Palace, which is about 5 km. It was so much fun! The gentle breeze, eye contact and smiles from other runners was great and we enjoyed chatting about it after. 2014年10月10日、セールスフォース・ドットコム日本オフィスでは、チャリティスポーツイベントCloudRunを皇居周辺で開催しました。CloudRunとはセールスフォース・ドットコムの社員有志が企画するグローバルなチャリティランで、今年はオーストラリア、シンガポール、インド、日本オフィスで開催されます。当日は、社員や弊社の内定者、株式会社パソナテキーラ様から60名以上が参加しました。集まった寄付金合計250,000円は、Habitat for Humanity Japanを通じて広島県の土砂災害被災地の復興支援に活用されます。

今回のイベント参加費は、復興支援事業に活用されますが、参加された皆さんにとっては、共通の目標のために走った経験自体が、今後も社会人としてまた一人の大人として社会に貢献していくきっかけとなることを願っています。（中川ミミ様, Habitat for Humanity Japan コミュニケーション事業部マネジャー）

今回、初めて皇居一周約5kmを同僚のみなさんと走りました。参加させて頂き
