Changing the Game in Education at Dreamforce

Hate crimes. Cyberbullying. Gender inequality. Human trafficking. Poverty. Refugee crisis. The more connected our world becomes, the more these challenges expand globally. Education as a fundamental human right can be one of, if not the most important lever in building peace, eradicating poverty and driving economic and sustainable development. But in order to make way for significant change, our education system needs a complete overhaul.

Roadblocks to change in our education system are many, from an increasingly diverse student population, a teacher shortage, and new skills needed for a constantly changing workplace. This year at Dreamforce we’ve gathered global education leaders to share their thoughts on what will change the game in education. We recently announced an $8.5 million strategic grant to San Francisco & Oakland Unified School Districts to improve computer science, math, and college and career support.
