Our Future Ready initiatives help level the playing field for youth to be better equipped with what they need to succeed. We work to help kids be school ready, help teens be tech ready, and help young adults be workforce ready.

Focus Areas:

Our Tech Ready programs aim to increase enrollment and performance in STEM education, especially for girls and students from underrepresented populations.

  • Partnering with Salesforce.org, Technovation, the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls, has engaged and inspired over 10,000 girls across 100+ countries, with 26% of alumnae going on to major in computer science.
  • Through their computer science curriculum and teacher professional development, Code.org has inspired tens of thousands of young people to take advanced computer science courses.

Workforce Ready (Young Adults)

Workforce Ready (Young Adults)

With our Workforce Ready programs, we’re investing in a future where every young adult has opportunities for meaningful work, especially in tech careers.

  • With help from our investment, more than 500 young adults build the skills and experience to enter the professional workforce each year through Year Up’s intensive, one-year training and internship program
  • Through its summer training and year-long internship program, Genesys Works Bay Area provides paid internships to more than 120 high school seniors each year, providing them with meaningful career exposure and work experience before heading off to college
