GIVING BACK

Give back and make the world a more equal place.

Each day of Dreamforce brings opportunities to join the conversation about creating equality and taking action to give back. Last year, we heard from people who have dedicated their lives to making the world a more equal place, including Trailblazers like Billie Jean King, Melinda Gates, and John Lewis. Our speakers this year will be equally as accomplished and awe-inspiring. Keep checking back for more details on this year’s agenda.

Daily giving-back activities also give you hands-on opportunities to make an impact. Last year, we raised funds to help (RED) end AIDS, and this year you can expect even more exciting ways to get involved.

CUSTOMER SUCCESS

Customer Success Monday: Workforce Development Day

Connect with the Community
Dreamforce is a time to connect with the worldwide Power of Us community. Here’s a list of the community activities happening at Dreamforce.

Camp Ohana

Want to learn about the community support resources available to Salesforce.org customers in a relaxed and friendly setting?

Swing by Camp Ohana in the Salesforce.org Lodge to hear all about the Power of Us Hub, User Groups, Training and Enablement options, Circles of Success, and our Salesforce.org dedicated Tech Support directly from the friendly faces of the Customer Success group.

There will also be specialists on hand to discuss Salesforce Support Services, with expertise in things like Premier Success, Accelerators, Customer Success Architects offerings, and Customer Success Management options.

Additionally, you will find a self-service kiosk highlighting the Solution Exchange in the Power of Us Hub! The Solution Exchange is a community powered tool designed to connect community members to users and institutions who are trying to solve similar challenges using Salesforce.

If the Lodge is open, Camp is in session!

Salesforce.org Contributor’s Corner

Are you curious about how open source works at Salesforce.org? Hint: It’s not just for coders and techies. Have you contributed at a Sprint or want to know what contributing is all about? Come meet up with Salesforce.org community staff, developers and community members and give your input on some amazing community projects.

Contributor’s Corner will take place on Wednesday morning from 8:00am – 11:00am in the Salesforce.org Lodge in the Westin St. Francis. Come find us at Basecamp at the Salesforce.org Lodge!

Ask an Expert

Bring your toughest Salesforce questions (and your laptop!) to Ask an Expert from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Salesforce.org Tech Support, Customer Success Architects, and MVP’s will be waiting for you in the Salesforce.org Lodge. Connect with experts in Nonprofit Success Pack, Higher Ed Data Architecture, and the platform itself. These on-on-ones are a not-to-be-missed opportunity to get face time with valuable resources in the nonprofit and education technology industry.

As an Expert in the Salesforce.org Lodge in the Westin St. Francis. Come find us at Basecamp at the Salesforce.org Lodge!

Mindshare Meetups

Formerly Birds of a Feather, Mindshare Meetups are an opportunity for like-minded Nonprofit and Education professionals to gather and discuss how Salesforce can serve as a platform for solving organizational and universal issues. Tuesday’s Meetups will focus on the sustainable development goals (SDGs), a new, universal set of goals, targets, and indicators that United Nations member states are expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies over the next 15 years. Wednesday’s Meetups will focus on popular solution lines for Nonprofit and Education customers.

The Mindshare Meetups will take place in the Georgian Room of the Westin St. Francis. The full schedule is listed in Agenda Builder under ‘Mindshare Meetups’

Salesforce.org Success Sweet Spot

Hosted by Salesforce.org’s Customer Success Group and Fair Trade Coffee USA!

Take a breather and connect with colleagues, friends, and the Salesforce.org community over Kara’s Cupcakes and Equator Coffees and Teas outside of the Salesforce.org Lodge at the Westin St. Francis on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:30pm – 3:00pm.

Circles of Success

Circles of Success are small group clinics that are focused on your organization’s business and technology needs. While these live roundtable discussions are unscripted and consultative in nature, they are guided by Salesforce.org and industry experts. We’ll be here to moderate, but what we really want is to connect you with other Salesforce customers with similar challenges and successes. Check Agenda Builder for the latest Circles of Success session availability. A tip to easily find these sessions is to perform a search for “Salesforce.org” in Agenda Builder. If the session appears full, do not despair! Seats are reserved for walk-ins. Pop by the room and join us for nonprofit- and education-focused Circles of Success!
